Professional Free Fonts for Your Designing Needs

So you’re in need of a creative font type, but can’t afford the Adobe Font Folio. Look no further, Dafont.com saves the day.

Dafont.com is a free font resource where authors publish their fonts and allows them to be downloaded and used free of charge. There are over 8 thousand fonts to choose from and are organized in a simple easy-to-use interface that allows you to quickly browse and find the right font for your project.

One very cool feature is the “custom preview” option where it allows you to enter sample text and browse through the fonts while previewing the text you’ve entered. It’s a great resource for any designer to have in their archive.

Follow Your Dreams

November 13th, 2008 by Michael Locke

One of the things that I took away from the most recent presidential election was how fortunate we are to live in a great country that allows people to follow their dreams with free will and choice. This leads me to a motivational message I printed out a while back – one I try to read daily…

“Our greatest power is the freedom to choose; we decide what we do, what we think, and where we go…We can do what we want to do; we can be who we want to be. We develop our own future by applying persistence to the possibilities. Our future is all around us. If we seek, we will find it. If the door is closed, we must knock and keep knocking until it opens. Never give up.”

This quote was compiled from a story I read out of Inc. magazine. The quote comes from the mission statement of the company built by Joe Cirulli, a $17 million dollar health and fitness center business he created out of nothing. You can read his story here.

Enjoy.
