Thanks Mark, yes the main thing is making sure that the site does what its meant to do. If it’s clean and simple, but effective and gets people the information they want with a great user experience, then that’s all that matters. ;)

@Kris – You’re welcome, yes..this is advice for everyone at all levels really. Also this advice can be applied to not just web design but other careers as well. Higher skill level and differentiation is always a win win.
