This week’s favorite website goes to Kellogg’s. I like to find different type of web designs each week and the Kellogg’s website is nice because it has a combination of great brand awareness, good use of the entire page, nice use of photography (both product shots and great background treatments), clean balance of white space and just a really nice quality design throughout.
They do a great job at making it actually look good for you too lol. ;) sorry the inner hippie slipped out.
Quite a great stuff here. Very awesome use of photography. But Mike wont it take quite a lot of time to load for some that have slow internet service. What do you think? And how possibly could they have taken care of that. Cheers man Great job, Great Choice for the week.
@Emmy – Since the Kellogg site is really a site the focuses heavily on branding, they might not be too concerned with top loading speed. People generally won’t visit the Kellogg’s site and worry too much about information not being loaded fast enough. But when you look at sites like Bing.com, Google.com and Yahoo.com, these sites rely heavily on speed so its more of a concern there. (url fixed ;)
Site loads pretty fast for me. I think the changing background is a little distracting. Makes me feel like I accidentally changed pages. I sure feel like I’m outside when I look at this page. I like it.
