Very interesting screencast Michael – thank you. I've used Balsamiq Mockups to create a number of wireframes but have never tried Mockingbird. I'm wondering if you've tried Balsamiq and if there are any pros and cons to either one that you can share?

    Cheers,
    Kris

    Hi Kris,

I'm aware of Balsamiq but haven'te used it too much. To be honest, I've only recently started using Mockingbird recently so I'm not really sold on one over the other. I just really wanted to create a video on wireframing for educational purposes and I had to choose one. :) If I had to pick one, I probably would go with Mockingbird just based on the User Interface of the application. I'm used to selecting from the toolbar on the left (while in Adobe Fireworks which is where I spend most of my time) so by Mockingbird being consistent that way, makes it easy for me to transition back n forth. But I don't have anything bad to say about Balsamiq. I would use that if I needed to. ;)

Thanks for the screencast. I’ve thought about if there were programs similar to gomockingbird, but never really knew. Thanks for the info!
