Friday Favorite – Buffalo Wild Wings

This week’s favorite site goes to Buffalo Wild Wings. I love the use of bold typography, large engaging product images and the overall design direction with the flat vectorized branding. The site displays a great flow between vector illustrations and photography – very well done. Another great site for inspiration.

I agree… high contrast with nice looking vector illustration style… It’s responsive too and works well at low screen sizes.

Very inspirational, I love the use of photography to make the site really stand out.

I really like this site too but I just had a question regarding the text for the navigation menu. Is that a basic readily available text like areal, Georgia, veranda, etc or do you think they’re using a web type text and using a special technique so that everyone can see it regardless if they have it installed on their computer or not? it doesn’t look like a basic readily available text to me.

The vector styling and color combo is a delight. Great execution of conveying the message and an inspiration indeed. Thanks Mike.

They’re probably using Typekit or something similar.
